SCHOOL BELL AWARD NOMINATIONS NEEDED!

The School Bell Award recognizes an outstanding SBISD staff member who promotes the Purpose of the PTA and advocates for all children.

The Purposes of the PTA are:

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, places of worship, and throughout the community;
To raise the standards of home life;
To advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth;
To promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth;
To engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of all children and youth; and
To advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.

Please email Elizabeth Gardner with your HCE candidate nomination who has exemplified one or more of these purposes. Please include specific examples of how your nominee has exceeded expectations of their job description and is deserving of this award.

Our HCE staff nominee will be determined when we return from Winter Break in January by the HCE PTA Executive Board. The nominee will then be submitted to the SBISD Council of PTA where a candidate will be selected to represent the entire district!

Deadline to submit is Wednesday Dec. 18th.
