Hunters Creek Elementary School PTA was given the most prestigious award by the Texas PTA. Out of thousands of PTA's, only 52 statewide received this ward and 4 out of the 52 are in SBISD.  Thank you for being a part of our PTA and advocating for our children!

Josten's National Yearbook Program of Excellence Award

GOLD

We recognize schools that continually strive to create and deliver an exceptional yearbook to every student. The National Yearbook Program of Excellence Award is given based on the extraordinary efforts that go into creating a yearbook and making it accessible to every student. The following are the criteria for the award:

• Inclusivity: Ensuring a vast majority of the student body is represented. For example, to achieve Gold distinction, at least 50% of the student body must be pictured 3 or more times. HCE has 97%!
• Engagement: Fostering school spirit and utilizing best-selling strategies to ensure the book gets into the hands of the students.
• Task Management: Meeting all submission deadlines and keeping the production process on track.
• Levels of Recognition: The program evaluates submissions in three tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze, with Gold being the highest level of achievement
